“Glowing” is an acrylic painting on particle board that used to be a part of my coffee table. I included the palm leaf with sunlight behind it because during evening in Florida, the light shines through these palm leaves and it glows beautifully. I modeled the snake after my ball python, Gary.
I started with a thick base coat of yellow acrylic paint mixed with a ton of glitter for the background, not completely sure what I was going to do at first. This glittery sunshine color really inspired the direction that the painting went. Some of it dripped before it dried, however I really ended up liking it and love the texture it adds.
