WHAT PAINTING MEANS TO ME:
“Art has always been a major interest in my life because of how artistic my mother was. A truly loving and genuine person, my mom taught me all about the beauty in creating. From a very young age, I began drawing, painting, crocheting, and writing my own books. My mom gave me her old easel she used back in high school in the 80’s. It’s just a basic model you can still buy at the store today, but God I’ve used that easel for years and years, and I carried it with me across the United States in search of healing my soul. It played a major part in healing myself.
I love to use oil, acrylic, and gouache paint the most, but I love using all types of media. I’ve always been a true multi-media artist. I want to do and learn everything.”
