POISONED ROSE ART LOGO
Although this was a commission from her lovely friend, Kasey considers this logo commission a part of her Passion Projects.
This logo is a favorite of Kasey’s. Jordan, the owner and operator of Poisoned Rose Art LLC. (and close friend) asked Kasey LeRay Art to create three different logos to replace her old logo and match her new rebranding. The main thing for this logo that Jordan sought and Kasey envisioned, was the purple and green roses that align with Poisoned Rose Art’s colors and meaning. Kasey decided that having the roses crossed behind a skull would look interesting instead of bones. It was a very fun experience for Kasey to create this logo, but it also taught her a lot and showed her progress in logo-making. Kasey created this logo with Procreate on her 12.9” iPad Pro.
OTHER LOGOS
Rose in a Bottle Versions
“Kasey designed my new logo and gave me three designs to choose from. I loved them so much I use all three in my packaging and cannot stop showing them off. The first two we collaborated super close to get them just right and the third I gave her complete creative freedom and she did not disappoint. Kasey is so amazing and communicates through every step and is genuinely a joy to work with. She is hands down my absolute favorite artist and you cannot go wrong with her.”

WHEN CREATING THE LINEWORK….
Kasey wanted to use tattoo style linework. She wanted to keep the logo as simple as possible, but since it is for an artist, it needed to be important. Poisoned Rose Art creates detailed and dramatic paintings and artwork. That is why Kasey felt like the story of the image was more important than simplicity in this case.
Another important thing Kasey had to keep in mind, was that too many colors can make the design much more complicated to read, print, or remember.
