Lily Pads Original Oil Painting

This original painting is on a 12”x12” canvas and includes gold embellishments. The goal of this painting was for me to explore the freedom of creating. I just simply started painting and didn’t do as much of the control I normally do over the small details. Something about the wavy strokes makes it feel more fluid and smooth.
