JUST BECAUSE RACING
Simple Black Text.
It’s important that I offered enough simple versions of the logo since the graphics I created ended up being so detailed. These are good for ads or cover photos and the like, but not great for printing small. That is where a logo version like this is perfect.
Just Because Racing is a YouTube account whose founder is a friend of mine. Josh asked me to create something including his current truck and some cool cars, maybe palm trees. I ended up creating a large graphic including all his previous project cars, and then another version with the truck and text. I created some palm tree reflections on the surface of the paint because I didn’t want to include palm trees in a cheesy way.
Creating the brand.
Things that were included in the brief were things that were important to Josh, because the YouTube is about him and his race cars. So, I came up with of list of things that I should focus on in order to meet his vision.
Palm Trees (Florida native)
Black and red color palette
Type: Clean and smooth
Branding Board
Shades of red and black were a large part of the color palette because red compliments racing and the sleek black look matches the black truck that the logo is centered around. It’s a classic color combo.
